I moved so my address on my w2 is different than what I put on my 1040. I used my registered mailing address. Does anyone know if this will cause an issue?
I'm not worried about an audit, I'm more worried about it being accepted or not

The IRS and States do not have an issue if the address on your W-2 is different then the address on your tax return. People move all the time.

No, using your current mailing address will not cause an issue. The address you enter on your Form 1040 is the address that the IRS will use if they need to contact you.
