I moved abroad in the middle of 2018. Now I need to report my worldwide income to the IRS. Will TurboTax include all the necessary forms for avoiding double taxation?

*NOTE: I have already reported my taxes abroad (in Canada). I am only concerned about reporting in the US for 2018 federal tax purposes, and whether or not I can report worldwide income when using TurboTax. I am self-employed.

Yes TurboTax would help you prepare a proper return. My "personal favorite" is  TurboTax Home & Business, downloaded or CD version -- this keeps everything on my personal machine for future  use and the fact that I can get to forms mode  to make sure I understand what the software is doing.

The double taxation issue is dealt through foreign earned income exclusion and  foreign tax credit.  For the former you need to have established a foreign tax home ( by passing the  Physical Presence Test -- 330 days away from the USA in a  test period of 365  continuous days).  Thus for you,   qualifying may take till middle of 2019 -- suggest you file for an extension and as soon as you qualify, file the return.  Don't forget that you may also have to file a state return depending on the exact facts and circumstances
