I mailed in my state return and it was delivered this morning. Will my TurboTax account update later, saying that it was filed?

I was told that i was ineligible to e-file my state return. I went ahead and mailed it to the department of revenue, and it was delivered this morning. My TurboTax account still shows that I need to file my state taxes. Will this update automatically at some point to reflect I filed them, or is there something I should do to get it reflected?

No.  Turbo Tax will never know if or when you mailed your return and if the state got it.  And the state doesn't update TT.    Your account will always say Ready to Mail.

No.  TurboTax never knows that you put a tax return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox.  TurboTax will only show the result of the tax return that you prepared--showing the refund or tax due.  TT will never know if you receive your refund or pay your tax due.
