Oh---instead of replying on the thread you already started on, you began a new one. Confusing.
In your previous thread you asked if you could file as HOH and claim your dependent---but you only had $100 of income that you earned. You are not eligible to get any sort of child-related credits for tax year 2022 without income earned by working, and $100 is just not going to be enough to help with that. (The tax laws for 2021 were more generous and you may have received the child tax credit last year even if you did not work in 2021---that law expired and changed. You do not get the CTC or any other child-related credits if you did not work in 2022).
If I am working and my 18 year old is working we live together can I still claim him as a dependent and HOH
@Tia culmer Try using the IRS earned income assistant. You could *maybe* get about $40 of earned income credit if you file a 2022 return. But your income was self-employment income----not income on a W-2, right? So no tax withheld? You cannot get child tax credit, period, because you earned so little and your child is older than 16.
