What do you mean, did not exempt?

If you were an employee subject to withholding, and you filed a W-4 with your employer, AND you correctly filled out the W-4 according to the instructions, you should probably expect a small refund.  The W-4 system is set up so that, if you follow the instructions, most people will break even or get a refund.

However, if you had additional income not from your employer (such as from selling investments, self-employment, or something else) you might have been required to adjust your W-4 to withhold more, or make estimated payments.

No one can tell except you, when you prepare your return.

We can only guess at what you mean by "did not exempt"-----I am wondering if you mean you made that much income and did not have any tax withheld.   If that is the case, then you will likely owe.   We have no information from you, though, regarding your filing status, the source of the income, whether you have dependents, etc etc etc.   Giving us one amount without any other details makes it impossible for us to predict whether you will owe tax due to the IRS or your state.
