I'm using Turbo Tax Premier. Unlike years past, I cant find where to import W-2 info online. How do I import W-2 and can I import W-2G from the internet?

In TurboTax Premier Online, follow these directions:

 

• Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
• Down the left side of the screen, click on Wages & Income.
• Scroll down to Wages and Salaries.  Click Show more.
• Click Start / Revisit  to the right of Wages and Salaries (W-2).
• Click on Add another W-2.
• At the screen Enter the employer ID from your W-2, enter the Employer ID Number from box b of the W-2.  Click Continue.

 

If the employer ID that you entered is available for download, you will see the screen Great news!  We can import.

 

If the employer ID that you entered is not available for download, you will see the screen How would you like to add your W-2 and importing the W-2 will not be available.

 

You are not able to import W-2G from the internet.  See this TurboTax Help.
