I'm using the installment method to pay my 2016 taxes. When I pay the first payment with my Form 1040-V Payment Voucher slip, do I also need to send the IRS my printed out Federal Tax return? Or do I just send them the Form-1040V with my payment?

If you have successfully e-filed your return, you will only need to mail your Form 1040-V with your payment. Please be sure to enter your social security number as well as the year and form you are paying for (2016 Form 1040).
