I'm trying to file my taxes but I can't complete the filing process because the "Your CompleteCheck™ to-do list" says that I have an answer to review even though I have.

Everything to I click on Review, I submit the question that they're asking but it keeps taking me right back to the review page asking for me to review the same question. What can I do? I can't complete it.

It would be helpful to have a TurboTax token.  The token provides a sanitized version of your return.  We will be able to see the numbers but not any personal information such as your name, SSN, or address.  

 

If you would like to do this, here are the instructions: 

 

In TurboTax Online, go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools. 

  1. Then select Tools below Tax Tools. 
  2. A window will pop up which says Tools Center.  
  3. On this screen, select Share my file with Agent. 
  4. You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click okay through this screen, and you will get a Token number. 

In TurboTax CD/Download versions, go to the black panel on your screen and select Online. 

  1. Scroll down and select Send tax file to Agent. 
  2. You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click send through this screen, and you will get a Token number. 

Reply to this thread with your Token number. 

 

We will then be able to see precisely what you are seeing, and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.

After reviewing the token to fix the errors, you can follow these steps in TurboTax Desktop:

 

Signature Date

 

  1. Click Forms in the upper right-hand corner
  2. Click Info Wks
  3. Enter today's date

 

Asset Sale value

 

  1. Click Forms in the upper right-hand corner
  2. Click Asset Wks (2021 Refinancing Fees)
  3. Remove the $0 from line 21.  If the value is zero, it should be left blank

 

Schedule SC Error

  1. Massachusetts Schedule SC can not be more than the tax due.  Your tax listed on the Massachusetts Individual Return is $5,914
  2. Click Forms in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Scroll down to Massachusetts Individual and click on Schedule SC
  4. Change line 12 to $5,914

I just had the same exact problem.  it kept taking me to a line on my schedule C. I did the same thing - going thru all the forms trying to see where the item was showing from but no luck.  it was a locked line and I couldn't delete it or change it. Out of frustration I did a right click and there was an "Override" so I clicked it and it let me delete and/or change the info for that line. Once I did that it let me submit the return. Just make sure the info you put in or take out is correct and doesn't change your return unless you want it to,
