I’m so confused when I put my w2 I made about 18000 dollars this year and they said my refund is only gonna be 4 dollars??

Your refund is computed based on the difference between what your tax liability is and what you have paid.  Without more specific information, it is not possible to tell you if you missed something when entering your information.  

 

Do you have children you were expecting an Additional Child Tax Credit for? Make sure you have filled out their information correctly in "My Info."  

 

Review the information on your tax return to double check by printing a pdf copy before filing.  Here is how, per:  Can I print a copy of my return in TurboTax Online before I file it?:

 

1. "Open or continue your return
2. Enter your return by selecting Continue or Start on Tax Home.
3. Select Tax Tools from the menu, then Print Center (on mobile devices, tap in the upper left corner to expand the menu).
4. Select Print, save, or preview this year's return, and follow any additional instructions.
   Once your PDF opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader, select the printer icon.
5. Make any adjustments in the Print window and then select Print."
