Are you talking about filling out a W-4 form? Use the Tax Withholding Estimator on the IRS web site to figure out what to put on your W-4.

You would simply check off your filing status (HOH?) in section 1c and in section 3 indicate $2000 for one dependent (I am assuming one child under the age of 17??)
