I'm looping on N-11 question 21c: interest expense. It's telling me "calculation updates have not been completed. Check back after 1/19/22." It's 1/25 already. Thanks

@isldsnow When you log into your TurboTax Online account, you will click Continue.  Once you've done that, there will be an option to select Tax Tools from the left-hand menu.  I have attached two screenshots for reference.

We would like to take a deeper look at this. However, we need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

 

 

TurboTax Online:
1. Sign into your online account.
2. Locate the Tax Tools on the
left-hand side of the screen.
3. A drop-down will appear. Select
Tools
4. On the pop-up screen, click on
“Share my file with agent.”
5. This will generate a message
that a diagnostic file gets
sanitized and transmitted to us.
6. Please provide the Token
Number that was generated in
the response.

Hi, for step #1, I'm thinking that you're thinking "TurboTax Online." When I log into there, I see "TurboTax" in the left menu bar. There is no "Tax Tools." Am I in the wrong online place? Thanks much

Thanks for this. I was able to see the "Tools" drop down, but I had to make a fake online form. My situation is that I'm not using TT online. I'm using a downloaded copy on my laptop. It appears that when I want to share my file with you, it pulls from the online account. Am I not able to share the file I'm doing offline? Thanks for the help

Here is the process for using TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions:

 

1. Open your return.
2. Click the Online tab in the black bar across the top of TurboTax and select “Send Tax File to Agent”
3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created.
Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us.
4. Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.

This issue has not been solved yet!

this keeps popping up for me to fix 

Form N-11: Interest Expense calculation updates have not been completed. Check back after January 19, 2022. 

Whats the solution to this proble

turbotax needs to update the system

This issue is being actively investigated, and we do not currently have a workaround. I suggest trying again later in the week to allow time for a resolution.

Having this issue on ProSeries too...it's 2/3/2022 and no resolution. What can be done? I update the program daily and there are no Hawaii N-11 updates to fix this error

I'm having this same issue.  N-11 question 21c:  interest expense calculation updates have not been completed.  Check back after 1/19/22.  It's now 2/8/22.
