I'm having problems with trying to fill my 2024 tax return. When getting started it keeps trying to fill my 2023 and I already did that last year.

what should I do, does that mean I had to pay more or is that a mistake?

Make sure you are using the current year program.  If you are using TurboTax Online, then you are preparing a 2024 income tax return.

 

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please see this link to ensure you have the tax program loaded for 2024.
