I'm a non resident alien who's working under OPT F1 visa. The W2 received doesn't have the right info.Should I file a Federal/ State Extension to wait for the correct W2?

I'm a non resident alien who's working under F1 visa (OPT).

Few months ago, I found that my FICA tax have been withheld mistakenly for the past 10 months, while the federal income tax has never been collected. Though the refund of FICA is processing, the W2 received doesn't have the correct info.

Should I file a State Extension to wait for the correct W2?

I've filed a Federal Extension via Turbotax. the system asked my checking account info and Fed Income tax amount. I know it may take some business days to process, but does that mean I've already completed the process of paying the payment?

If you are a nonresident alien and have not been in the US for 5 years or part years on an F1 visa, you cannot file a return in TurboTax.

TurboTax does not support nonresident returns.

However we have a partnership with Sprintax offering a nonresident tax filing solution to our TurboTax customers.

Visit the TurboTax/Sprintax site for more info or to get started.

Thank you!
I think I've used Turbotax E-filing to file a Federal Extension, and received a confirmation from Turbotax.
Was that not a valid filing??
