After the e-file, I received rejection codes for federal IND-031-04 & for state REJ001. I don't see a step-by-step resolution by Turbo tax. Please provide guidance.

Originally two days ago, both my Federal and State tax returns were rejected. I followed the instructions and fixed my federal return and it was accepted but my state has been Pending for two days. What do I need to do to get the state to be accepted? The rejections code was REJ001..which means state refund was rejected because federal refund was rejected. The federal refund has been accepted so how long will it take before my state refund is accepted? Or is there something else I need to do?

Hello,
Both my federal and state refunds were rejected. My federal refund had an error of IND031-04. I was able to in and fix it and it was accepted. But my state refund has a rejection of REJ001, which means it was rejected because the federal was rejected. My federal refund went through two days ago but when I look on turbo tax my state refund is still pending after 2 days. What do I need to do now?

As long as the state is listed as pending, there is nothing you need to do but wait. If the state gets rejected is the only time you will need to do anything. @Sogihee
You will need to wait for the state to be accepted or rejected. All there is now is to wait. @Sogihee
Rejected code REJ001 indicates that your state has rejected your return because your Federal return has not been accepted yet.
You will need to go into TurboTax and re-file your state return after your Federal return has been accepted.
