Did you follow the instructions for TurboTax online as outlined for a Form 8962 shown in the TurboTax support FAQ provided in your prior message - <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4348755-the-irs-is-requesting-form-8962-for-2018">https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4348755-the-irs-is-requesting-form-8962-for-2018</a>

#3.  We'll help your change(amend) return.  my screen says "Ok let's get a kick start on your amended return".  choosing adding or updating a tax form, takes you somewhere that isn't even close to the instructions. The box the IRS sent me a letter, (but they didn't, I called them), starts the amended return.  I only want help to fill out a form 8962 I have in my hand so I can fax it to the IRS first thing in the morning.  They want it now.

The following replaces steps 1 thru 5 in this TurboTax support FAQ for a Form 8962 - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4348755-the-irs-is-requesting-form-8962-for-2018

  1. Sign into your account with the same login you used when you filed your 2018 return.
  2. When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  See screenshot
  3. This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return.
  4. Select the Federal tab
  5. Select the Health Insurance tab.
  6. Answer the questions about your health insurance which includes entering your 1095-A.
  7. Select Tax Tools (found on the left panel), then select Print Center below it.
  8. Choose Print, save, or preview this year’s return.
  9. Select View or print.
  10. Select Form 8962 and Form 1040 and print them.
  11. Send the following to the IRS address or FAX number given in your IRS letter:

Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit

Copy of your Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement

A copy of the IRS letter that you received.

Only if the refund or owed amount has changed: Also include page 2 of your 1040

Try using a different browser.  IE11 can have problems.

This is a user community and we cannot contact other users by phone.
On the left side of the screen you should have several links -

Also, if you started to amend the tax return, there should be a Cancel Amend link on the left side of the screen.  Click on that link and then answer Yes to the question about removing the amended return.  That should cancel the amended return and then take you back to the Tax Home web page.  Then clicking on Add a state will get you back to the online return with the Federal tab available.
