I just sent amended tax for last year ' now can i file the current year?

Do i have to wait until confirmation paper filled amended 2023 accepted or i can file the current 2024?

There will not be a "confirmation paper" from the IRS for your amended return.  You can go ahead and prepare and file your 2024 return without waiting for 2023 to be processed.

 

 

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
