I just had a random $302 transaction from turbo tax and I do not use turbo tax’s services? Can I talk to someone to get this refunded?

Yeah, that terrible automated system won’t connect me to anyone because I don’t use any TurboTax products, then it just drops the call

So you did not use TurboTax at all this season to prepare a 2024 return in Online TurboTax or desktop TurboTax?

 

Try this when phoning Support at the number you were provided above.

 

After choosing TurboTax USA, when asked your issue, say to the robovoice  "speak to representative about billing issue" or maybe just "billing issue"--regardless of what it asks.   After 2-3 attempts, it may eventually transfer you to someone.   Business hours are currently 5AM-5PM Pacific, Monday-Friday.

 

If you can't get help from TurboTax Support, you can escalate your issue by contacting the office of the president of Intuit using the contact form at this link.   They say they will respond in 1 business day.

Could someone you know have used Turbo Tax and put in your bank account to deposit a refund?   And had the fees deducted from the refund.   Then if the IRS didn’t pay the refund or delayed it, Turbo Tax would deduct the fees from the bank account.  Or stole your identity.
