I have to use an Identity theft PIN from IRS is why my return is being rejected. Is there a way that I can put my PIN in to have my efile return be accepted

So you were a victim of ID theft in the past, and the IRS assigned you a 6-digit IP PIN?   Did you enter the IP PIN in the proper section of the interview?  It is not entered in the File section.   We can tell you how to enter it, if you don't know where to do it.

Also, are you using your new IP PIN for the current  year, which you should have received in an IRS letter back in December 2018 or January 2019?

To enter your identity  protection PIN in TurboTax Online, click the Search button at the top and enter "ip pin" (without the quotes) in the search box. Click the magnifying glass, then click the link that says "Jump to ip pin."
