I have several prior year versions of Turbotax deluxe installed on my computer. Can I delete these earlier versions without loosing any importatant informion?

Possibly,  if you have saved a PDF version of your tax return with all of the worksheets on your computer you can delete the TurboTax Programs that you no longer need.

 

Currently the IRS has a statute of limitations on tax returns of 3 years from the date they were filed.

 

States often have a longer period than the IRS you will want to make sure what the statute if for your state.

Yes, you can delete the prior year versions of TurboTax without losing important information provided you have imported your 2018 information to your 2019 tax return.  If you are not having a storage issue on your computer, you may want to consider keeping them in case some issue comes up where you have to revisit a prior year return.
