I have old .tax files i need to convert to .odf to preserve moving forward. i know your site says you don't support, but i can't find ANY source online that works, help?

I assume you mean .pdf, not .odf. You could try TaxPrinter at http://www.taxprinter.com/?soft=TurboTax . You send them your .tax file and they send you back a PDF of the return. TaxPrinter has no connection with TurboTax. This is not a recommendation. I'm just making you aware of it.

In the future save your tax return as a PDF each year after you file it.
