You don’t have to report your grandson’s CHIP health coverage. I am assuming that you are claiming him as a dependent.

When you go through the Healthcare section, you will indicate that all of you were covered for the year. On the screen Was anyone enrolled in any of these less common plans in 2016? you will say Yes.

On the screen What type of plan were you enrolled in? select Obamacare plan (1095-A), and continue to enter the information from your 1095-A

As far as your grandson is concerned, he won’t be getting a 1095-A for CHIP, and that’s OK. You only have to indicate in the beginning that everyone in the house had coverage.
