I have no income and I'm unemployed how can they take a standard $12,000 deduction from my first tax return

But I have zero income no taxable anyting this is the first time I filed my taxes I was a housewife and now I am separated.

You are confused about what the standard deduction means.  No one is "taking" money from you.  The standard deduction of $12,200 is money that is not taxed.
