I have just filed an extension for me, but I need to file an extension for a friend, can I do it with my turbo tax?

In order to file an extension for your friend, your friend must also have a TurboTax account.

Your friend will need to create an account. However they can file  EZ extensions: https://turbotax.intuit.com/irs-tax-extensions/ using that account.
