I have entered my 1095-A but TurboTax continues to tell me I need to enter the 1095-A, the data is in the form so why doesn't the software recognize it?

  1. Go to healthcare.gov
  2. Log in
  3. Go to Messages (on the left side of the screen if doing from a laptop)
  4. You should have a message about your 1095-A form
  5. Download the form
  6. Go back to Turbotax and upload the form in its entirety, including the letter in it.
  7. Turbotax should recognize the data at that up.

You need to upload the entire PDF, including the letter, you downloaded from healthcare.gov. It won't recognize the data if it doesn't get the entire contents.
