I have done my sons taxes for years with turbo tax. i would also like to do my own this year. do i need a separate account and log in to do this?

Can i just add my information as a separate return under the same log in?

Yes, you need to create a separate account for your return.  If you enter your information into your son's account, your information will overwrite his & you cannot get it back.

If you are referring to the TurboTax online version, the answer is No.  You will have to create a separate account for yourself.  You can only file one return per account and you have to pay separately for each return plus an additional charge for each state return. To see how to create a separate account, see the post from bluedeb above.

If you are referring to the TurboTax Deluxe desktop version, the answer is Yes, you can file multiple returns up to five without paying an extra charge.  (the price includes one free state download)
