I have changed my resident address recently. But I am still keeping my old address as my mailing address due to certain other needs. How to update IRS ?

Form 8822 is to change mailing address. I dont want to change my mailing address. How should I fill this?

As long as you can still receive mail at your old address there is no need to update your new address with the IRS.
