Form 1095-B does not have to be entered into TurboTax, instead make sure you answer the questions in the Healthcare section as follows:

  1. Answer "Yes" to "Did you have health insurance coverage in 2017?"
  2. Select "No" to "Was anyone covered by any of these plans in 2017?" (if someone on your return was covered by a marketplace plan then you'll need to select Yes here instead and enter their information from Form 1095-A on the following screens).

To enter form 1099-HC:

  • Log in to your TurboTax online account and select the “Take me to my return” button.
  • Click on "State" on the left menu bar to begin/continue your Massachusetts return.
  • You will follow the interview process until you reach the page "Let's Go Over Your Health Insurance Information".
  • This is where you will enter your Form 1099-HC.
