I have been separated from my spouse for 5 years but we are. Still legally married never divorced and I need advice on what to put do I file single or married

If you're legally separated, you can use Single or Head of Household (if you have an eligible dependent) status. If you're not legally separated, you have to use Married Filing Separately filing status.
