I have been charged for `OR WC` and `OR TRANS`, how do I refund myself for these charges?

Look these up online they are "Oregon's Work Compensation" and "Oregon's Transit Payroll Tax for Employers", I am not an Employer, I am an employee. Seems like both these taxes are meant for employers. I am not an LLC either, I'm a W2 individual. How do I got about getting this corrected?

@J053  Please clarify - who charged you these taxes and how did you pay them?

It is on my W2s and it looks to be coming from the City of Portland. They are listed as business taxes, but I'm not a business owner. I'm a normal W2 employee.

If they are reported in box 14 on your W-2 form, they may be taxes your employer paid on your behalf. If you paid any local taxes through your wages, they would be reported in box 19 on your W-2 form in the form of taxes withheld. If so, the associated tax would be addressed when you complete your state tax return in TurboTax.

It is in Box 14, but on my pay stubs they are listed as "Taxes withheld" and come out of my paycheck.

The "OR Trans" is a transit tax that employees pay at the rate of  0.1% of your wages. It is not refundable.

I assume "OR W/C" refers to workmen's compensation insurance, but the should be fully paid by your employer. I suggest you ask your employer if and why they are deducting that from your pay.
