I have a multiple W2s from a company because I worked in several states for them. They put the Federal on 1 and issued separate W2 with just the state amt on the others.

Turbo tax says I cannot electronically file with a W2 that has 0 for federal.  If I remove that  W2 I can file federal, but then my state income tax is wrong.

All you need to do is to enter the state lines on the W2 entered containing the federal information on it, 

 

Yes, that is correct.  You must have an amount in box 1 to e-file your return.
