I have a 1099-misc and a W2 for the same company with the same amount. I entered my W2 as income. If I enter the 1099 it doubles my income should I submit both?

I entered taxes withheld on W2.  once I enter 1099 it decreases my refund and increase my income twice.

This is a tough one. If it is for the same income then your employer needs to void the 1099-Misc. If it is for different income then both have to be reported.

If your employer made a mistake, then you have two options on filing the return: (1) File an extension and wait for the employer to correct the mistake, or (2) File the return reporting all information provided (both the W-2 and the1099) and then file an amended return when the mistake has been fixed.
