I have a 1099-INT form that is showing Interest Income from two separate accounts on one form. How do II enter it?

If they are from the same bank you can combine the totals or enter them as separate 1099's.

To enter your 1099-INT to your return:

  1. Open your return in TurboTax.
  2. In the Search box enter “1099-int”.
  3. Select the “Jump to 1099-int” link.
  4. When it asks “Did you receive any interest income?”, answer YES.
  5. Select Continue on the next screen.
  6. If you would like to manually enter the information, at the bottom, click on “Change how I enter my form”
  7. Select “type it myself” on the next screen.
  8. Continue to completing the onscreen questions.
