It probably will be mailed unless you go the IRS Get My Payment application. This new IRS application will allow you to:
- Check your payment status,
- Confirm your payment type such as direct deposit or check,
- Enter your bank account information for direct deposit if the IRS does not have your direct deposit information and has not sent your payment yet.
