I had additional income via recycling scrap metal, do I file it with the 1099-K?

Cash or 1099 income for scrap metals?   and what was your 1099-K for?

Yes cash for scrap metal . I was asking g if that would be the form to use?

Okay, thanks for clarifying.  You record this income in the same place as the 1099-K, but not on 1099-K form.  

Go to Federal Taxes>>Wages & Income>>Self-employment income (1099-MISC, etc.) and expenses.  From here, either create or edit your ''SCRAPPING" business.  You can add cash received as a line item under ''Additional Income".
