I got a loan with h&r block last month and I didn't have to give my w2 only my last check stub. Do I have to file with them or can I file with turbotax?

The answer to your question depends on the terms of the loan from H&R Block. You have to ask them if you can file with another company. TurboTax would have no objection.

Read the fine print in the contract... the preparer may have highly suggested you come back to BLOCK to have the return done however it is NOT required.   All that is required is you pay back the loan in a timely fashion ... again read the contract you signed.
