I get mostly 1099 income. Last year I got a one-time payment as a W-2. Do I file in CA and pay there or does income threshold apply and I don't need to?

I earned less than the California income threshold, so maybe I can just add it with all the rest of my income and not bother with filing in CA?

If you were a California non-resident and your California "source income" plus your Income from all sources is less than the amount defined in the chart below (see screenshot), you are not required to file a California return.
