I finish doing my taxes a week ago. I get all the way to the end and in addition to the 3999 I am told I now have to pay $179!!! I used the free version and all of it myself. why am I being asked to p

The $179.99 is for the TurboTaxLive version of the software where you can have talk to a EA or CPA and have them review your return.
If you haven't spoken with a tax expert, you can remove the bundle on the Order Review page, in the lower left.
