I filed the wrong info on my state income tax at TurboTax; I’ve tried editing it but no success; any suggestions family?

If you haven't e-filed your tax return, you can delete the state return and start all over. Follow the steps below if you're using TurboTax Online:

 

1. From the menu, scroll down and select State and Continue
2. Select Delete next to your state return and Yes.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, refer to the TurboTax article How do I clear my state return in the TurboTax for Windows software?

 

If you have already e-filed your tax return, you will have to file an amendment to make a change on your state return. Don't amend your state tax return until it is processed and you have received your refund or your balance due has been credited to your account.
