It sounds like you're encountering an issue where TurboTax isn't prompting you for your husband's tax information, even though you're filing jointly. Here are some steps to help resolve this:

Verify Filing Status:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account a be sure you are logged in for link in Stepp 2 to work
  2. Go to the Personal profile screen, and under Your info select your name, then select Edit/Review.
  3. Ensure that you have selected "Married" and "Filing jointly" for your filing status

Add Spouse's Information:

  1. Enter Spouse's Details:
    • In the "My Info" section, make sure your husband's information (name, Social Security number, etc.) is entered correctly.
  2. Enter Income Information:
    • Go to the Income" section.
    • For each type of income (e.g., W-2, 1099), there should be an option to add your spouse's income. Look for a button or link to "Add another W-2" or similar

Review and Complete:

  1. Review All Sections:
    • Ensure that all relevant sections (e.g., deductions, credits) include your husband's information where applicable.
  2. Run a Final Review:
    • Use TurboTax's review feature to check for any missing information or errors.
