I filed my taxes but it keeps rejecting say wrong date of birth but on my tax return it actually says my correct date of birth. Any questions on how to help?

I also filed my taxes on January 28th, it still says pending even after 21 days

If your return has been rejected due to a wrong date of birth, but you have verified that it is entered correctly on your tax return, then you may need to contact the Social Security Administration (SSA) to verify that the correct date of birth is in their records.  That is the database that the IRS uses to verify taxpayer information when a return is filed electronically.  If the tax return information does not match the SSA database, then the return is rejected because there is either an error, or it could be an attempt to file a fraudulent return.

The Social Security Administration phone number is 1-800-772-1213.  Speak to them to verify that their records are correct with regard to your date of birth. If an update is required, it can take up to four weeks to transfer the updated information to the IRS.  You can re-file your return after four weeks.  Or, you can print the return and mail it to the IRS for processing.

Be aware that if there is a mismatch between your actual date of birth and the SSA records, then your tax return will continue to be rejected every tax year until the mismatch is fixed.

But, you said the original filing from late January is still "Pending"????

IF so, you can't file again to replace it, unless the original first-filing is actually "rejected".   Filing again now would be rejected because the original is already in the system, and still waiting to be processed for some reason.
