You can view, download, and print your tax returns going back up to 7 years if you filed with TurboTax by following the steps below:

If this is the first time you are logging into your account this year:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account and select Continue on the screen showing your prior-year summary. Make sure you're using the same TurboTax account (user ID) as in previous years.
  2. On the second screen showing product and pricing, scroll down and select Your tax returns & documents.
  3. Select the year you want, then select Download/print return (PDF).

If you started your 2024 return already:

  1. Select Documents from the menu
  2. Choose the tax year you want
  3. Select Download tax PDF

How do I view, download, or print a prior-year tax return?

If you can't access your account in TurboTax, you can also get a copy or transcript of your return from the IRS.  See the link below for more information:

Did you use the Desktop program? Sorry you won’t be able to install or reinstall or activate 2020 or prior. They only support the last 3 years. And the License Code started in 2019. So 2019 and 2020 needs to connect to Turbo Tax to verify the License Code.

If you have the file ending in .taxyyyy you could try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at
