One thing that you need for e-filing 2019 taxes to be accepted by TurboTax is your 2018 Adjusted Gross Income. You also need to put in your driver's license number, and if you established a personal ID number for your federal taxes in the past, you will need to put that into your 2019 TurboTax return for it to be accepted. The personal ID #, driver's license # and bank account info is under the Filing tab--the first screen in the federal section of the filing sequence. Just hit each of the 3 "Edit" buttons to get into then. Perhaps the personal ID # is on last year's printed tax form--I do not remember if that gets printed on the federal tax forms or not.

When did you mail 2018 in?  Try entering zero 0 for the AGI.  If that doesn't work you will need to mail 2019.
