I filed for an extension but did not receive a confirmation message or email. I downloaded the completed extension form. What do I need to do?

You can login back to your TurboTax Extension to find the status to see if it's pending or accepted or reject. If it's rejected, then make sure to follow the instructions to fix it. Make sure to file your tax return for 2018 before October 15 deadline.

I did not receive an email confirmation although after filing an extension with you and it said successful...please advise.

It can take up to 48 hours to receive an email confirmation. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it. For more information, please see What to Do After You've Filed an Income Tax Extension
