I filed an extension using turbo tax easy extension, but have not received the email "within 48hrs to let you know if your extension has been approved". what happened?

You can use this website to check the status of the e-filed extension: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

Also check your email spam folder.

thanks! checked the link, it was rejected. checked email again, spam as well, and no email. how do i fix it now??

It is too late to refile a rejected extension now.  If you owe taxes, go to the IRS (or State tax) website to pay them directly there. Also check your TT account to make sure it has your correct email address.
