I filed after the unemployment tax change

I still haven’t received my initial refund. I filed after the tax law change does this mean my refund and unemployment refund will come together?

Great question! Yes, since you filed after the unemployment exclusion was enacted, this means you will receive only one refund, and that up to $10,200 of your unemployment was already excluded on your originally filed tax return.
