I filed a fed tax extension and it was accepted. Where do I find the fed acceptance document in turbo tax?

Log in to your TurboTax account and scroll down to the bottom and click 'Your Tax Returns and Documents'.

Select 2024 and then click 'View Efile Details'.

Is there a way to view any payment information associated with a filed extension?

Namely, if I included a direct debit payment on the extension, can I view that information anywhere and the status of the payment?

The first page of the PDF should have bank information.

More information here.

Thanks for the reply.

In my case, following those instructions only lets me see tax documents for past years.

What I was curious about was, when I select "File an extension", and click "Download your Federal Extension", the resulting PDF (form 4868) contains none of the payment information I entered when filing the extension.

That's the bit that trips me up: I can't see whether the payment was successfully submitted alongside the extension, only that the extension was approved.

Ok, then what payment method did you use?  Check your bank statement and see if the money has left.

If it hasn't you can make the payment for your extension here.
