I filed 2023 taxes jointly with my spouse, but I keep getting emails to file my own taxes. Do I need to take any action?

Ignore the emails from TurboTax.  You are receiving these marketing emails because of an account you did not use for filing the 2023 tax return.

That's what I figured; thanks for confirming & reassuring!

I am getting the same persistent emails. It has now reached multiple emails per day. There is no "Unsubscribe" button. "Ignore the emails" is not a solution. You are basically becoming spam. According to the CAN-SPAM Act, you are not allowed to do this without giving us a way to opt-out of your marketing emails. Information on the CAN-SPAM act can be found at https://www.ftc.gov/legal-library/browse/rules/can-spam-rule and https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-16/chapter-I/subchapter-C/part-316.

We need an acceptable way to stop these emails.

That allowed me to unsubscribe, but we will see if it works.

The CAN-SPAM Act requires opt-out information to be in the email itself. Reference: https://www.campaignmonitor.com/resources/knowledge-base/is-it-illegal-to-not-have-an-unsubscribe-link/#:~:text=One%20such%20law%20is%20the,receiving%20future%20email%20from%20you.

The need to go to a forum to get the answer is not clear and obvious.

All that said, I do appreciate the quick response, and I hope your suggestion works.
