To claim your business expenses, you will need to upgrade to TurboTax Self Employed.

After you upgrade, enter your business expenses in the following area:

Type in schedule c in the search box, top right of your screen

Click on the first category Jump to schedule c link

Follow the prompts and online instructions

Arrive at the Your Business page

Scroll down to the Business Expenses category in which you will see the following:

Business Vehicle Expense (where you will enter your vehicle/mileage deductions)

Other Common Business Expenses (a number of your expenses may be entered here)

Home Office Expense -if you work out of your home
