I entered my 1099-misc income in business should I also enter it in personal? It looks like that is what I did last year but not sure if that is correct. Thanks

It is only necessary to enter your 1099-MISC one time. You may enter it under the Business or Personal entry screen because the program will allocate the income based on your responses before and after entry.

If you entered a 1099 twice last year, you may need to file an amendment to correct that. Please see the following for how to amend your 2015 return if necessary:
