You can enter each of your W-2G's into TurboTax by following these steps:

  1. While in your Tax Home,
  2. Select Search from the top right hand side of the screen,
  3. Enter W-2G,
  4. Select Jump to W-2G,
  5. You will be allowed to enter as many W-2G's as you need.

i entered them ok i think.  i.e. all detail is entered, review shows detail including amount. but total amount of income for gambling is incorrect. 4 of 5 are not included. this is not a tax problem i think. it is an entry, edit, display, . . . etc. problem. please help.

I am not sure why you are having this problem, I tried to duplicate the problem on my end, but when I enter more than one W-2G, they are correctly adding up.  To verify that they are correct, go into this screen:

  1. While you are in your Tax Home,
  2. Select Wages & Income,
  3. Select Review/Edit,
  4. Scroll down until you see Gambling Winnings,
  5. Here you will see your total.
  6. You can select Edit/Add to review the details of you W-2G's.

the entered w-2gs can be reviewed but the 'needs review' flag doesn't go away and the bottom line of the summary total remains the total of 1.  it acts as if it is being silently rejected telling me why.  can you look  my data?

If all your W-2Gs are from the same casino you can enter them as one W-2G.  Add up your winnings from your 5 W-2Gs and enter one time using the casino info on the W-2G.  This is an acceptable solution used by taxpayers that have numerous W-2Gs from the same casino.

i don't know.  last hint was delete and start again.

-after delete and reentry of w-2gs (with slight change - summarize 1 set of dups and delete and ignore what appear to be non essential entries, e.g. window, race, state income . . .) things look good except panel labeled 'your income' has two enters for gambling winnings, the 1 nearest the top is zero, the 1 nearest the bottom has a button that says revisit, i revisit and all w-2gs look correct

i'm going to try to go on to the end and see what happens.
